Branson Vacation

Our vacation was so much fun! We had a blast. I won't bore you with all the pics, but these are some of my favorites. I tried to put them in order of occurrence, but I got quite frustrated with that. So, we've got them in the order they uploaded which I do not understand. Oh well!

Here's Courtney & Cassidy quenching their thirst from their boot mugs at the Dixie Stampede before the pre-show. The main show was really good. The food was incredible also and served in huge quantities. We weren't supposed to take pics, so this is the only one I took. You'll notice Courtney's wearing her glasses. This was Thursday night. She lost a contact on her way down a water slide at White Water earlier in the day. It flew right out of her eye. It was a cool slide! Note for next time - goggles.

On Wednesday, we returned from Silver Dollar City and were preparing to go for a swim at the hotel when the firm alarms starting going off. Thankfully, we were all clothed! We grabbed our shoes and headed out. Branson's fire dept responded quickly. I heard a dryer in one of the laundry rooms caught on fire. It was quickly taken care of and we were allowed back in pretty soon. I was so proud of our girls. They responded quickly and did everything they should do without a big panic. Cassidy was a little rattled afterwards, but did okay. Silver Dollar City was really fun. This tea cup ride was new since our last visit. Cassidy wanted to ride it by herself! She was indulged by us and the ride operator!

Cassidy also wanted to ride a roller coaster with her Daddy. This is her rushing off of Thunderation looking for Mommy. Can you see the distressed look on her face? "It was too fast!"

Monday night was rainy, so we headed to the Hollywood Wax Museum for some entertainment. On the set of American Idol, Courtney was attempting to do her Carrie Underwood impression by crying. She was having a little trouble stopping laughing long enough to do it.

Here's the girls at breakfast. Courtney is trying to convince Cassidy that the little containers of creamer are actually filled with broccoli juice.

Tuesday's rain meant a trip to Tanger Outlet Mall. This is Matt & Cassidy's standard position for shopping! They were sure troopers for Courtney & I!Sorry, I told you these are out of order! Here's Matt at the wax museum posing with the Men in Black. I think this picture is hysterical!

We spend most of Thursday at White Water, but I didn't take any pictures. We had a great time. My sweet hubby is going to indulge me one more time tonight by taking us out to dinner here in Tulsa. The food prices and traffic in Tulsa will seem like a breeze after a few days in Branson!
