Summer vacation

End of July/first of August, we were able to go for a great family vacation to Colorado. These pictures are in no particular order, but you'll get the idea.
Pikes Peak
Matt golfing ~ Pikes Peak behind. Matt said you have a view of the peak from every hole. He also enjoyed high altitude golfing...the ball sure flies!
In Denver, watching the Colorado Rockies vs. Chicago Cubs.
We were literally sitting just over a mile high.
Seven Falls near Colorado Springs
Riding the Royal Gorge Railroad. The train actually travels in the canyon right next to the Arkansas River.

Seven Falls
Morning moon over Green Mountain Falls
Celebrating Courtney's 13th birthday on the deck adjacent to our cabin in Green Mountain Falls.
Courtney taking in the Royal Gorge
Matt & Cassidy exploring in the Garden of the gods
The US Olympic training center was the first place we visited upon arriving in Colorado Springs. Most of the summer indoor athletes train here. Very neat.
Us girls think no vacation is complete without shopping. We found an outlet mall while Matt went golfing. There were school clothes to be purchases, after all. For the record, Cassidy did not buy the hat.
Beautiful mountains, gorgeous weather. Had a wonderful time!
