Stellar day

What an incredible blue sky!
Yesterday, I had a MUCH less than stellar day. I won't bore anyone with the details, but not much went right. The Meadors Academy was in disarray. Today, God blessed me with a day that
has (so far) looked like I envisioned homeschooling. The girls and I did some school work this morning (and happily I might add). We then went to the library for new books. We arrived at a local park in time to eat our picnic lunch, then we played a bit. Courtney then finished up her school work stretched out on a blanket while Cassidy and I read some new library books. We played a little longer and headed home. I know every day can't look this way, but I'm thankful that they come when I need them the most.

We hunted for plants and flowers for our science today. Tomorrow, we'll press them and try to identify them.

Time for recess

Cassidy's "shirt" here was purchased in China in 2005. It was a dress then. It now fits perfectly as a shirt!

You go homeschooling mom!! If you need a cheer section, just call me. I KNOW you are doing great, and who wouldn't enjoy studying science outdoors with the One who created all they see? Sounds pretty good to me. :)
