Our homeschool group took a trip to a self service dog wash store in Tulsa on Friday. Basically, you pay to use their equipment and shampoos. It was fun for everyone except the dog. This is Sweetie, whom I somewhat affectionately call our "devil dog." She is Sweet 90% of the time, but 10% of the time, it's as if she's possessed by a demon and gets into trouble.
Sweetie is NOT amused. She smells and looks great now, though. We bought her a peanut butter doggie candy bar before we left. She deserved it! Those doggie hair dryers are terrifying!
This really was much easier than bathing the doggie at home. The dog smells great, too. She had a blueberry facial. I think we'll be back with the other dog really soon.

Well, there's another advantage to living in a larger area... our dogs always got to use our bathtub, then I spent the rest of the day cleaning from allowing our dog to use our bathtub.... :)

Sweetie sure doesn't look like "Devil Dog!" LOL! I guess you need a video camera to capture those moments?
Oh yeah, cleaning the tub AFTER cleaning the dog is just too much! I think I have driven by a dog wash here in town somewhere, . . . I may have to check it out.
