Snowy wedding day

Today, Matt's mom was married. It also came an incredible spring snow storm. Thankfully, our 50 mile drive north and home again was uneventful. The wedding was beautiful despite the wild weather. Matt and his brother walked their mom down the aisle, I did the music, Courtney attended the guest book, and Cassidy ran around being cute.

Here's our redbud tree in full bloom with snow on it. Gorgeous.Cassidy was such a trooper today. We made it home in time for her to play in the snow for a little while before dark.
Dad & daughter dance. Courtney looked WAY too grown up.
Waiting for the bouquet to fly. Courtney caught it. Daddy just kept demanding a do over ;)

I must say my girls were quite beautiful today. Courtney was just striking. She rarely wears a dress and usually has her hair pulled up. I just can't get over how grown up and beautiful she was today. She's only 11! I love my girls and was incredibly proud of them today. You know, I was proud of Matt too. Giving your mom away as the bride is not all that easy. He graciously agreed to do everything she asked from giving her away to dancing with her to the song "I Hope You Dance." He's a good son, a good hubby, and a good daddy!

I think I'll stop bragging and go spend some time with my precious family.

I was hoping the wedding would go well despite the weather. You have a precious family! Dad, mom, and daughters. We're blessed to know you!

These little blessings do just grow up too fast.
